ICI — industrial, commercial & institutional

Built for owners who specify everything.

ICI means the buildings where people work, produce, learn, heal and govern: offices, plants, warehouses, schools, health facilities and government buildings.

OVC’s ICI practice is built around the Government of Canada and other institutional owners whose projects come with occupied buildings, security requirements, heritage constraints and rigorous specifications. We deliver interior fit-ups, structural rehabilitation and new construction on time, to specification and with complete documentation.

Services

Interior building systemsComplete interior fit-ups and renovations: demolition, steel-stud framing, drywall and ceilings, doors and hardware, millwork and finishes, coordinated with the mechanical, electrical and security trades. Phased work in occupied buildings is our specialty.
Structural renovations and rehabilitationsInvestigation, shoring and repair of concrete, steel and masonry structures; seismic and load-capacity upgrades; envelope and roof-structure repairs; heritage-sensitive interventions.
New constructionNew commercial, industrial and institutional buildings and additions, delivered as design-bid-build.

Who we work with

Federal departments and agencies through Public Services and Procurement Canada, municipalities, institutions, property managers and private owners. OVC’s federal contract awards are a matter of public record through the Government of Canada’s proactive disclosure of contracts.
